CEO & Co-founder
Before joining Dvdendo, Gabriel was the CEO of Next University, one of the fastest growing online education institutions in Latin America, and a member of the Open English family of companies. Previously, he spent many years as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Oﬃcer for the Cisneros Group of Companies.
President & Co-founder
Matthew co-founded Dvdendo after many years as a portfolio manager and trader focused on Latin American ﬁnancial markets. He had success building trading businesses from the ground up in Colombia for Lehman Brothers and in Chile for Merrill Lynch. Matthew is a graduate of Amherst College and Columbia Business School.
Chief Technology Officer
Prior to joining Dvdendo, JC served as a Senior Software Architect and Technical Advisor for companies such as Blackberry, AT&T, Tracfone, Kipu Systems, Chewy.com and others. He started his technical career as a Computer Science Researcher at FIU’s High Performance Database Research Center with a focus on Data Mining & Geospatial Imaging Processing. He spent 10 years with IBM and has a total of 20 years of experience creating high performance and scalable enterprise applications.
Arnoldo is Head of Latin America Strategy and Business Development for Abra, a Silicon Valley based company that has built the ﬁrst global, peer-to-peer, digital cash, money transfer app that utilizes blockchain technology. Prior to joining Abra, Arnoldo worked at Paypal as Head of Financial Services for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Bert is a technology executive with more than twenty years of experience at both publicly traded and private equity backed companies in key C-level roles. Most recently, he served as CTO for Humantelligence and prior to that was CIO at ABB Optical Group. Bert has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
